Suffering from cabin fever, we as a band began looking for opportunities to get out together. We found Ramsey’s Adventure Club (a new company that sends people on adventures around the world using the proceeds of the American made gear they sell) and they decided to sponsor us. This adventure took Funk N Spuds to Red Dirt Lodge in Spooner, WI where we recorded a 5 song EP called ‘Ramsey’s Adventure Cabin’.

The EP arrives April 2nd with a celebratory self-produced live stream featuring our Austin, TX friends The Chicken Boys. It’s also the Meier Brothers’ mother’s 60th birthday and everyone is invited to join in singing, maybe if we sing loud enough she’ll be able to hear it in Wisconsin :)

We’ve been playing regular balcony shows and self-producing live streams from our Como rehearsal space since the start of the pandemic. Our first album ‘Harmonize’ arrived on streaming services in July 2020 and we’ve seen great success over the fall with the singles we’ve released.

Funk N Spuds is a Minneapolis based musical collective with funk rock jams and smooth jazz. We are a band 5 years in the making, culminating in a magical New Years Eve performance leading into 2020.
